Clive teamed up with Facebook earlier this year to devise a sophisticated exposed brick environment that felt relaxing and stylish, whilst bringing to life the theme of journalism and the freelancer “coffee-shop” culture.
Changing destination biannually, this was the event’s last year in Vienna and the theme was to be “From Post-Truth to Virtual Reality: Navigating Media’s Future”. Facebook’s goals were to improve awareness of several products, earn trust with EMEA affiliates and position themselves as an innovative storytelling platform that deepens engagement whilst maximising reach. To bring this vision to life, Clive transformed their 60 sqm booth into a tranquil oasis of exposed brickwork, cosy rugs and even house plants, with an aim to relax whilst informing visitors in their natural habitat.
Featuring an Oculus Rift demo area, genius bar for 1:1 partner meetings and a meeting room. The intricate build ensured that Facebook had a captive audience to project their message to.
There were refreshments in the form of coffee machines and a micro kitchen to make people feel more at home, and also an Instagram photo opportunity so to increase awareness post-summit through social media. There was even an impromptu performance by one of the visitors using the Instagram violin prop!
