It was Clive’s 4th year working with Facebook and Instagram at House Festival, an exclusive boutique festival for corporate members of Soho House Group. We came up with something a little different to keep things fresh.
The festival saw a few thousand revellers come along to hear music from the likes of Erasure, Craig David, Sean Paul and Rag’n’bone Man. Clive helped bring Facebook and their key partners to life with a live broadcast at an exclusive hospitality zone in the Marble Hill House venue, a Palladian villa built between 1724 and 1729 in Twickenham, Richmond.
We put together a branded environment full of live streaming and social media worthy photo ops, so that attendees could escape the madness and get to grips with Facebook and co. in a fun yet relaxed sanctuary. The marquee was kitted out in a bohemian style with hay bale seating suited to the festival setting.
The shenanigans were all captured and live streamed from a studio in the marquee. Capital FM presenters George and Lilah interviewed guests and ensured that the merriment not only continued, but was also broadcast to the masses online. There was even a branded Instagram photo activation so that people could share the joyous festival vibes themselves and fully immerse themselves in the capabilities of the Facebook and Instagram brands.
We didn’t just successfully promote the Facebook family to a corporate audience in a vibrant and fun setting, but we collaboratively executed a perfect example of how a brand can be brought to life in both a physical and digital environment. The attendees were having so much fun, that the brand activation space seemed as much a part of the festivities as anything else. Facebook once again successfully reinforced their presence and showcased their capabilities to the latest generation of corporates, whilst introducing themselves to the next.
